Feeling great

We’re fine now! After days of feeling under the weather with Ace nursing a fever that doesn’t subside despite of the medicines that he’s taking and me feeling sick for all the work load, we’re up and running now. We were able to attend a friend’s wedding last Saturday afternoon despite Ace’ slight fever and headache. It was so nice seeing some of HS classmates whom I haven’t seen for years. OMGoodness, we really had fun during the wedding. After the wedding we went out with my HS classmates. They had light beer and I had a can of Coke. Ace’ fever has subsided but he still has slight headache. After a few bottles of beer and a super laugh trip (that Doc Penchie even complained about her facial muscles starting to get numb because of so much laughing. Oh well, it’s the best than anti wrinkle treatment so I always love laugh trip moments. To cap the night off, we went to a local eatery that serves sumptuous beef stew made of beef shanks and marrow bones. Goodness, it tastes great! Imagine eating Bulalo at past 1 in the morning? The laugh trip doesn’t end at the bar but we continued it over big bowls of Bulalo. The end result, I and Ace must have released so much “happy” hormones that we weren’t able to sleep until 5AM. However, we felt great!

Dark circles

Just came back from grocery shopping. I went alone because Ace is still nursing a fever. I bought our pets’ foods, fruits and veggies because I can’t find time to go to the market to get the fruits and veggies so better get it from the supermarket at the mall to save time. Besides, I need to meet my friend who’s going to be married whose big day is tomorrow. After my grocery shopping, I went to Chowking where the couple is waiting. I’m supposed to reproduce a copy of their wedding ceremony program but since Ace is sick and I just can’t leave him at home to attend to those errands, they thought it’s better if they will be the ones to reproduce it tomorrow. The soft copy of the program is with them already. Besides, they still need to show the program to their officiating minister tonight so printing and reproducing will be tomorrow morning.

It’s one day to go before the big day and I noticed my friend’s eye has dark circles. Maybe she got it from her sleepless nights at work for more than a year. So that explains why it’s not that easy for those dark circles to disappear instantly. Oh well, there’s nothing to worry about. She can use concealer to hide those dark circles tomorrow.

Perfect alternative

It’s been days since Mr. Sun showed up. For bed weather like this, it’s always great to be in deep slumber. How I wish! But sleeping is a luxury this time because I need to catch up with work and finish my online tasks. This makes me look forward for our planned week-long vacation on April. We badly need that rest and recreation for us to unwind and steer clear of the daily work routine that we have.

Our vacation destination is so perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. And because we love white sand beaches, it’s where we are going! The photos of the island I’ve seen in the internet is so inviting….with a serene environment, and the long stretch of white sand beaches, it’s not only perfect for a vacation but for destination weddings too! For couples who wanted to have an intimate wedding by the beach in a secluded island, Riviera Maya is the place to go. But since it is located miles away from here, Bantayan is a perfect alternative.

Intimate wedding

Topic of the day in my blogs: destination weddings. Aside from June, it’s the time of the year when wedding statistics will increase. I don’t know why people choose this month over the other non-busy months for a wedding when it’s the time when one could get a rare chance of getting a venue booked unless it was done months before the wedding date. December is the time for parties, corporate events, reunions, etc. that makes most restaurants, hotel ballrooms, function rooms, resorts and the like fully booked. So far, the best choice for wedding on this month is to go to a secluded hotel-resort like Karisma Hotels in Riviera Maya. There you will have an intimate wedding along the white sand beach. Hence if you want a private wedding in a heavenly place, check out Karisma Hotels and have your dream wedding there.

Diversion

Okay, now I need to divert my attention so I won’t be thinking about horrifying things that might have happened to Kiaw-Kiaw (our cat) since he was not home since last night. I am already thinking of the worst that might happen but I need to forget about it so let me think of a beautiful place, a perfect place for destination weddings or just a weekend getaway to relax and unwind. I was actually looking at the photos of a destination wedding in one of the Karisma Hotels in Riviera Maya. I wanted to post it here but I’ve got no way to copy the image location so lemme just feed your imagination with some great things about Karisma Hotels. It’s a bunch of hotels along a white-sand beach properties in Riviera Maya catering to different needs of their guests. But what makes them stand out from the rest is that it is a great place to hold a destination wedding so if you are looking for a place for destination wedding, check out www[dot]karismahotels[dot]com.
