This will be our last day here in the apartment. I am too excited to move and yet I am not yet done with packing. I still have a lot of things to pack and I hope Ace could give me a hand later. Boy I’ll be missing this place. I actually love it here minus the neighborhood. I’ve been ranting about the noisy, insensitive neighbors since our first week in here. We’ve actually confronted them a lot of times but to no avail. They feel like living in the jungle that they could talk and laugh so loudly without thinking somebody might be disturbed with their noise.

We’ll be missing our route going to downtown or to the market where we’ll pass by a known skin, slimming (that probably includes  weight loss surgery) and spa center. I’m planning to have our next facial treatment there but it seems it won’t happen anymore because it’ll be out of our way. Hope we could find time to visit the place next time because I wanted to try their services. We’ll also be missing the malls and I hope we could save a little bit from that because we won’t be frequenting the malls – less eat outs and shopping. Ouch! I am excited for the move anyway so I’ll gotta go and continue packing.

We bought a sofa set last December from Ace’ annual bonus. We are actually torn between a hardwood living room set or a sofa that is more comfortable. However, we ended with a sofa set made of suede cloth. It’s really nice but our problem is maintaining the cover. We are just very careful in lounging in the sofa. Imagine having a melancholic husband who checks on it every now and then if it’s soiled or not. We are planning to get custom slipcovers to protect it from dirt and stains. But while we don’t have that custom slipcovers for our sofa yet, we need to prevent it from getting soiled as we cannot just pull out the cover and wash it.
