It’s been days that we feed Puto and Maya with leftover. I am glad that Maya now eats human food because she’s so picky. She doesn’t want rice. All she wanted is meat or fish…if we are not feeding her with dog food that we used to buy in Robinson’s Handyman. The last time we were in Robinson’s Cybergate, we saw dog food but it’s not the same brand as what we are buying in Handyman so I told Ace maybe Handyman (just outside the grocery) has stocks of Dog Chow. So after we paid for the grocery, which then took us too long to wait in line, Ace went inside the hardware to check for the dog food. They don’t have stock in the hardware and we didn’t want to wait in line again in the grocery just for the dog food so we decided to feed the dogs with leftover for the time being.
Talking about the grocery experience in Cybergate, it was fine. I love it better than the older supermarkets in the city especially their meat and fish section. The barcode scanner is the same as with the other supermarkets but I didn’t paid much attention to it if it was handheld like a Symbol LS2208 (a compact gun-type laser scanner) that I saw online. The barcode scanner is indeed a great help in efficiency and productivity but what I loved most is their set-up in bagging the goods. The grocery bags are set-up in such a way that it’s ready to take in goods just after the cashier finished scanning it. The grocery bags are kinda hanging with steel prongs holding the two handles. So it would be easier for the bagger to pack the goods inside the bag.
Now back to the dog food, we checked at Handyman last Tuesday but only food for puppies are available. So Ace dropped by at Cybergate last night to get a dog food but it’s out of stock. Ha! So Maya and Puto has no choice but to eat rice and sardines because no way we will buy other brands which is way too expensive than the one we are buying for them (that’s the reason why even if Handyman’s stock would almost reach their ceiling, it wouldn’t last for days). I hope next week, we could get them their dog food.
