Last night was EARTH HOUR. I’ve been thinking about it that morning but almost forgot about it at night. I visited my sister Carol who gave birth yesterday afternoon and brought along food for dinner. Since it is the hospital’s policy to keep the baby in the nursery for 4 hours for observation and other procedure, I didn’t wait for it to be delivered in Carol’s room since it’s getting late. While walking past the hospital’s bundy clock, I remember it is EARTH HOUR within 4 minutes. I wonder if I could get a ride and reach home within 4 minutes so I texted Ace to please turn off the light bulbs and appliances. Ace was so exhausted to read the message so the lights were on when I arrived 10 minutes after. Immediately, I turned off all lights and appliances then lighted some votive candles. It was one great way to shoot with long exposure so I set-up the cam in the tripod and shoot to my heart’s content. Sadly, haven’t uploaded my shots last night. Will be posting when I get the time to upload the photos here in the PC. Anyway, I am looking forward for a more frequent EARTH HOUR…once a month, I guess. It won’t really hurt us, the earth and our electric bill.
