Workers in medical field are in demand abroad. That explains why despite of the low salary of nurses in the country, thousands are still taking up nursing in the hope that they land a job abroad. Even professionals are taking nursing as a second course as the first step in going abroad without the hassle for countries in the west and Middle East are outsourcing nurses and other allied health workers from the country. Hence, schools offering nursing and allied health services are sprouting like a mushroom. Even an Agricultural school like my alma mater offers courses that are related to health services.
