Living Well

I am not born with a golden spoon in my mouth so my life revolved around the world of things that the financially deprived people could only afford. Thanks to my experiences and to the internet that I was able to have a glimpse of the things that the elites have, or could afford to have. I realized that EVERYTHING in this world has its classification…for the poor, for the average people, and for the rich. It’s both extremes. If we could find a cheapest thing, there must also be the most expensive one…expensive far beyond our imagination. So I was shocked when Ace told me that he saw a living room set that costs PhP300,000 in the furniture store. WHAT? Who, in her/his sane mind would buy that sala set? For me, it’s impractical. But since manufacturers made such expensive sala set, there must be market for that. They are the people who don’t know how to spend their money because their bank accounts are overflowing. Same with the bicycle that we saw one time….it costs PhP200,000 and all other super expensive things that we’ve seen. BUT, I was even shocked to see an Audemars Piguet watch that costs almost half million US dollars. Is it too good to be true? Yes, it’s real…and based on the website, it’s S-O-L-D. So, there are real people who care less in spending almost half million dollars for just a wrist watch. I’m a bit curious to know who that person would be for maybe he/she has old watches to dispose and I would ask one for Ace.*LoL*
