Warm lights

I couldn’t sleep without lights before because Daddy and Mamang don’t put off all lights as we sleep. So I was used to that and it would be a nightmare to sleep at my grandparent’s or aunt’s house because they turn off all lights in their place. That would keep me awake all night with eyes wide open looking for some traces of light. But as I grow old, I am learning to love the dark when I sleep more so when I have read that sleeping under artificial lights expecially flourescent lights doesn’t give us the rest that we need. Hence, we wake up feeling tired or suffering from headache. Our body couldn’t rest under the illumination of the harsh lights. So that’s the purpose of dim lights. :-) After all, I thought they’re just for the rich who could afford to have nice lighting system. I thought those kind of lights are just for the sake of additional “beauty” in the house but it is indeed functional. I was even more convinced to “want” that incandescent lighting system when I have read about it in feng shui (I believe in it because it is not a superstitious belief but it is about good energy) and have watched about it in TV. But since I couldn’t change all our lights in here with incandescent bulbs (because we are cutting on power consumption), table lamps and or night lamps with incandescent bulbs would do to simulate a “warm” ambience and condition the body to rest.
