So hard to be sick these days. I am too concerned about Daddy because he has no health insurance. Since Mamang died, and Mamang’s health insurance was stopped, Daddy who’s declared as Mamang’s dependent also lost his chance of availing health benefits should he be hospitalized (God forbid!). When I still have my day job, I used to get a health plan for Daddy under our HMO. I payed for two years and yet he wasn’t able to use it because he doesn’t want to go to the hospital even just for check-ups. Oh well, it’s better than availing the hospital services. Daddy’s a “cowboy” so he’s not that sickly but I think we need to get him even just the most affordable health insurance for he might need it. Who knows. (God forbid!).
