Not yet over

It’s almost a week and I still can’t get over bragging about my bag. Obviously, I love it so much! Indeed, patience is a virtue and it pays off to wait for the right time. I’ve been dreaming to have one bag that is worth keeping and passing on to the next generation. First I dreamt to have an LV but having one is next to impossible so I settled with Coach. It’s more affordable. After months of deciding which is which, I finally settled with a Heritage Stripe Zip Satchel.

Bought this from Faye, a fellow blogger who sells products from US with a minimal mark up. I chose to buy from her because I am 100% sure that I’ll receive the item…safe and without damage. Check out her items for you might find your dream bag there.

So much about my Satchy (that’s what I named my bag) and time to check out for natural adult acne treatments to add to my compilation of natural and home remedies for skin care. I just love compiling and reading those stuffs.

Green shopping

Since I learned green shopping (read: online shopping), I can’t just get over it. I wish the stores are located here in the country so that shipping will not be that much! I already have a list of the things that I would be buying online thus I am saving for it. This time, its all household stuffs because I am done with our personal gratifying stuffs (I really hope I am!) and trying to avoid the temptation of those nice to have personal loots. Need to be serious on saving for the household loots. Anyway I still have months to go before Black Friday sale so I might have enough funds to fill a “balikbayan” box that time. What’s good with my shopping spree lately is the fact that Ace didn’t mind it at all. I mean, not like other husbands who questions their wives’ expenses or worst, not amenable with wives buying stuffs for themselves. :-) I am just lucky!LOL

Treasured pearls

My one and only freshwater pearl jewelry set isn’t complete. The pair of earrings is missing. Che2x must have misplaced it because she used it for a couple of times then. Now I wouldn’t have something to wear when attending gathering that requires me to dress up and accessorize my outfit with my treasured pearls. Ace said I should buy next time but the sets I saw in small stalls selling cultured freshwater pearls aren’t classy. They look cheapo now. Oh well, what could I expect, the set costs not more than $20 so I get what I paid for. Maybe I could get it online so I tried to browse for nice jewelry pieces and I found beautiful yet affordable sets at Holsted Jewelers. Great jewelry pieces and sets come in different shapes and materials. Prices are also reasonable while some pieces or sets are offered at a discounted price. So that’s a big deal for someone who is very particular with the budget. Now I wish I could find one among the fashion jewelry sets that could serve as my alltime fave jewelry for all occassions.*lol*

Replacement for the lost shoes

Did I ever mentioned here that Ace’ Sunday shoes was lost after we attended the wedding of her sister in Dumaguete?

I think we forgot the bag where our shoes was packed in the taxi going home from the airport. So now when we attend Sunday worship, Ace has no choice but to use the shoes that he used on our wedding. To pay for the lost shoes (which is my fault for being too forgetful), I am planning to get Ace a new pair of shoes that he could use not only in church but when he attends semi-formal events where wearing sneakers and his crocs is inappropriate. I saw this Naot shoes and I think he would like it. If not, then maybe he could choose from Noat’s inventory of men’s shoes. Then I might ask my friend who’s coming home on October to handcarry it. Wow, this is an expensive way to learn my lesson. So I hope I won’t be losing another thing due to being too forgetful.

Hidden charges

I wanted to shop online because items are far cheaper than buying it here. The first and last thing that I shopped was our Hoya Pro1 D circular polarizer and I almost swear to myself not to buy there anymore! It got me. When viewing the item, it is almost 50% cheaper than the regular price here so it is a bit reasonable to get it online despite of the additional shipping fee. But on top of the shipping fee, I was shocked to see the total amount deducted from my paypal upon paying for the item. Read more…
