Would you cross the street immediately or stare at the lights longer? Taken in front of Mana Davao on Christmas night.
More This Way Thurs-Way here.
The second batch of the free prints that I ordered fromĀ Artscow finally arrived today. I was waiting for it since the other week and I almost consider it lost because it should already be delivered on the first week of the month. What a relief when Mr. Postman finally made his appearance at the apartment’s gate this morning. The sound of the doorbell actually woke me up at past 10AM and am beaming to see Mr. Postman with my parcel containing the 100 4×6 free prints from Artscow! I should have 1200 free prints upon registering with Artscow early this year but never availed of the monthly 100 free prints until I only have 200 free left. Bummer! Now I need to pay for the prints next time I order. Since I am satisfied with the quality, I wouldn’t mind paying $0.06 per print and have it shipped here rather than printing it with the local photo labs. Today I availed of the free 12×18 prints so we will have something to put in frame and hang in our bare walls. Can’t wait to see those big prints!
I seldom join Looking at the Sky on Friday for one simple reason…I don’t have sky photos to share. All the while I thought I have exhausted all the photos in my file until I decided to go over one folder in my flickr account that has the most number of sky photos and found out that I still have tons that I haven’t shared.
The photo was taken November of last year when I and Ace joined the island hopping that was organized by one of his colleagues. It was one fine day and we spent the rest of the day in the boat going around Island Garden City of Samal or commonly called Samal Island, a part of Davao del Norte. Most of the island’s people are fisherfolks so one will find cluster of houses along the coastline.
P.S.
I should have cropped this photo to remove the portion of the boat (upper right corner) but I am too lazy to do that so just don’t mind that distraction. I know it ruined a beautiful landscape but just let it be that way.
