We need a cage for our puppies. Yes, we need it badly because Kuya (David) can manage to fit himself in the cyclone wire of the neighbor’s fence. Ace made a makeshift cage using the pet mats as the wall but Ate (Goliath) managed to climb it first. Now both of them can go out of the “cage” in no time. Ace even put knocked-down boxes to make the wall higher but our puppies are too willful to go out. Yesterday, Kuya was playing in the yard when he discovered a space between the planks in our fence. He tried to fit his head and managed to skip! He was too quick that I wasn’t able to hold him. The next thing I saw was he was already running in the street! I went out to chase him but he ran so fast. I couldn’t believe Kuya could run that fast. I looked so funny chasing a little puppy and yet I cannot catch him because he really ran so fast! After a couple of minutes running after Kuya, I was able to catch him. His heartbeat was so fast that I have to let him rest beside Maya. All the while I thought he was resting when I turned to check on him, he was already trying for fit in his body between the planks in the other side of the yard. I was quick enough to pull him and “imprisoned” him inside the house. Since they don’t have a decent cage yet, Ace said Kuya and Ate will stay inside the house. So the house will be their cage for the meantime.
I wonder where Kiaw-Kiaw (our cat) is right now. He went out early last night and never got home since then. For the longest time, he has never been out of the house for so long. He usually goes out for a couple of hours then returns home. Then when he’s tired of sleeping and eating, he will go out again. That’s his routine for months already not until today. What I am concerned about is that he is sick. He got a cut in his face that we are washing with hydrogen peroxide and Betadine. For 2 days we are struggling to give him antibacterial through a syringe. Hope nothing bad happened to him while outside and am waiting for his call out from our front door in a while.
