I seldom join Looking at the Sky on Friday for one simple reason…I don’t have sky photos to share. All the while I thought I have exhausted all the photos in my file until I decided to go over one folder in my flickr account that has the most number of sky photos and found out that I still have tons that I haven’t shared.
The photo was taken November of last year when I and Ace joined the island hopping that was organized by one of his colleagues. It was one fine day and we spent the rest of the day in the boat going around Island Garden City of Samal or commonly called Samal Island, a part of Davao del Norte. Most of the island’s people are fisherfolks so one will find cluster of houses along the coastline.
P.S.
I should have cropped this photo to remove the portion of the boat (upper right corner) but I am too lazy to do that so just don’t mind that distraction. I know it ruined a beautiful landscape but just let it be that way.

It’s been months since I took a photo of the sky so I have to go over my sets in flickr® and found this….straight out of the cam. This was taken during our sunrise shoot in Sta. Ana Wharf here in Davao City almost a year ago. This photo will turn one year old on the 13th to be exact.
Go check out other sky photos from around the world here.

This is the first after sunset shoot that I ever took since we moved here in the apartment. Sunset view is supposed to be so beautiful here but because of the high fence, I can’t shoot it*sigh*. Then we don’t have a ladder where I could climb so I could see the beautiful sunset outside. But I tried to step on a chair so I could get a photo of the warm sunset in our back. After taking the photo, that’s when I realized I am using the 50mm. My bad! I should have get a wider angle of the sky. Better luck next time!
Happy Friday! Enjoy looking at the sky! Join the fun here.
