Brain-draining post marathon

It’s already past 3PM and I am not halfway done with my online tasks. Thanks to the 2-hour brownout late this morning that ripped me of my time from blogging. It’s a blessing in disquise anyway because I was able to get some snooze to sustain this brain-draining post marathon that I am doing. To maximize my time, I am pushing aside some house chores such as washing the dishes that’s piling up in the kitchen sink. I’ll do it later when I am done or when I needed some rest away from the computer. It is such a very busy weekend and I am not even looking forward to have a walk at the mall later. I need to finish everything before cut-off. Now I’m off to another blog to update. See ya’all later!

Loaded weekend

This must be a vey BUSY weekend! Though this would not be the first busy weekend in my entire online career but this time it’s different. I am swamped with work and BUSY must be an understatement. First, I have reports to finish in my fulltime job; second, I have tons of online tasks that was just given out yesterday and today and will be due tomorrow; third, I have new writing endeavor that needs a lot of time to finish and it’s due by Monday. No matter what, I am so thankful for all the work opportunities that come my way.

Anyway, before breaking a leg and finish as many tasks that I can today like looking around for life insurance leads, I wanted to relax first and this photo with some of my HS classmates is enough for me to forget about my workload for a while.

Flexitime

FB is really a great avenue to connect with people. Who would think that my co-coder in my first onlie job found me on FB? She’s a friend of Ace’ cousin in FB thus she found us. Then lately we had a short chat upon knowing that I still have my online job (though not with the same company) for she’s looking for some additional resources hence she’s doing a sales job search. Oh, I would be very willing to help if only we are in need of sales people but we are not at this moment. What we currently need is a CSR (Customer Service Rep) that will work during US central time and that is late evening until early morning in Philippine time so I don’t really recommend it to mommies because they have mommy duties to attend to. The kids will suffer for sure. They’d better explore the blogging world for it is more flexible and they can do it during their free time outside mommy duties.

No choice

Vacation mode is over but I still have hang-over for the long weekend that was spent in the country’s capital. Feels like I am still in Metro Manila enjoying our stay with Ace’ younger sister – Borski and her hubby – Nai. Even Ace has hang-over too as he was telling me yesterday how short our vacation was. Oh well, next time we’ll make sure it’ll be long enough to cover everything that we wanted to do, we wanted to visit and we wanted to meet. Maybe next year that’ll become a reality. Now I’m back to work, no choice!

Another domain?

I am fighting that urge to get another domain but will be hosted with Google. So I’ll have a custom domain using a blogger platform. It’s been days since I really wanted to do that but I kept on telling myself there should be no more purchases from the money I have in my paypal because it is intended for our trip late this month. We’re going to Metro Manila together….for the first time and I want this to be a memorable experience for me and Ace. How can we tour around and enjoy our stay there with a limited budget? So I am saving my paypal earnings for that purpose. The domain could wait….or if opps will pour this week, then I can have a domain. Praying for that!

Anyway, I noticed two of my domains are getting enough traffic from search engines or should I say most of the number of traffic come from search engines. So I am thinking of ways how to boost that search engine traffic so I could earn more (in terms of clicks in my ad units). How about SEO? I know, I know….I should have done that before but I am too lazy to learn that thing. How about web directory submission? Hmmm…that must be a good start. But I still need to research more about it and I hope it won’t take me centuries before I could submit my site to free directories. Lemme take my time in doing that. :-)
