It’s been a while since I last posted and I’ve got so many pending tasks that are past due*pout*. Anyway, I need to do it now or else I won’t be receiving any on payout.
Anyway, we’ve (my sisters, BIL and Ella) been to our cousin’s house in Wellspring Highlands yesterday afternoon. The initial plan was to just visit Manang Inday (our cousin’s wife) and daughter Dimple and have some snacks there (and go home for dinner because nobody would cook for Ace and PILs) since we haven’t visited them after we (Ace and Che2x) spent the night their last November. We bought Palabok Fiesta (one of the only 2 foods I eat) in Jollibee while Carol bought brownies from Goldilocks and we pack ourselves in a taxi to Catalunan Pequeño.We should be there after more or less 15 minutes but we we’re caught in a heavy traffic along Bangkal so we arrived there a little bit late. Instead of going home early, we stayed for dinner until around 10PM. Among all of us, Ella enjoyed her stay so much because she stayed in Dimple’s room with the aircon on while we were in the family room gabbing (actually talking about our relatives in Kabacan). Then the topic shifted to Ukay-Ukay (used clothings) because Manang is interested in selling Ukay-Ukay clothes or bags in their area. It must be a good small business opportunity but like all other businesses, there’s still risk of not gaining much at some point. So Manang sounds like she’s hesitant to engage in that business because Carol said she might not gain at some instance but there’s really lots of money in that business. If I will have the chance to do business again, I would go back to selling Ukay-Ukay like before (we have rented a space and sell used shoes, clothes, bags and household items) but this time it should be in strategic place to make sure that I will make money. I already miss those days that I and Ace were so thrilled to open bales and sacks hoping that we could get branded items from it (and it will fit in either of us :-) ). Ace’ wedding shoes actually came from one of the sacks of shoes we have opened before. It’s an authentic Burberry leather shoes and it fits him so well. Anyway, I wanted to go to Ukay-Ukay stores today (though we’ve been there yesterday). I am actually hunting for some household items. :-)
