Author: During my job hunting days years ago, I’ve been a frequent visitor of online job sites but my online search isn’t that successful because only few companies here in Davao considered posting online as one way of sourcing applicants. Lately the trend has changed. Local companies are now getting applicants from online job sites and I find it convenient for applicants who can access the internet. Sorry for those who are still living in the stone age who doesn’t know how to use the net as an avenue for them to land a job. Also, many bloggers are now maintaining job posting sites like the philly jobs .com that is very helpful both to the applicants and the companies. So if I would decide to go back in the rat race, it’s easier for me to find jobs that I am qualified. Hmmm…not now, I am not yet bored here at home. :-)

Happy Holidays everyone!
We had a small celebration last night with exchange gifts and simple midnight snack of ham, spaghetti, cake, queso de bola and leche flan. I was too exhausted that I overslept and woke up past 10AM. For the first time in more than a couple of months I was able to sleep eight straight hours! Today we are still feasting on the leftovers from last night’s celebration. At this time I don’t wanna think of being conscious of my diet. Instead, I just eat whatever there is at the table regardless if it’s good for the health or not. After all, there’s a lot of time to go on diet after the holidays. And if health problems arise, there’s always health plans or Medicare supplement plan to the rescue.
