So hard to be sick these days. I am too concerned about Daddy because he has no health insurance. Since Mamang died, and Mamang’s health insurance was stopped, Daddy who’s declared as Mamang’s dependent also lost his chance of availing health benefits should he be hospitalized (God forbid!). When I still have my day job, I used to get a health plan for Daddy under our HMO. I payed for two years and yet he wasn’t able to use it because he doesn’t want to go to the hospital even just for check-ups. Oh well, it’s better than availing the hospital services. Daddy’s a “cowboy” so he’s not that sickly but I think we need to get him even just the most affordable health insurance for he might need it. Who knows. (God forbid!).

Graduation Party Invitations

My parents threw a party that I shared with cousins who also graduated from different levels but we missed out giving College Graduation Announcements to relatives and friends. With so many things at hand, I always forgot to check the a/c unit’s air filters and when I turn on the a/c at night, it’s only then that I remember the air filters are waiting for me to clean it. The last time I brought it down and cleaned was the other month so it must have been dusty now and needs cleaning. Since it’s already afternoon and the weather’s gloomy, I don’t think it’s wise to clean the air filters now because it won’t easily dry and we don’t have blow dryer for it to dry faster. Hmmm….maybe that could wait until tomorrow. :-)

I’m so glad with how my parents brought me up, I learned how to do many things. With my experiences in the real world, I learned more. But there are still things that I wish I know how to do like the following:

1. Baking cakes and pastries

2. Website design

3. Making fish paste (yes, I will have to learn that in due time)

4. Sewing

5. Manage my time better

6. Play piano

7. Ballet dancing

8. Swim (I can do a few strokes)

9. Take stunnig photos that could earn me bucks

10. Prepare my fave Chinese dim sum – stuffed shrimp!

So far, that’s all I could think of now and I hope these will not only remain in my wish list but I will have the chance and time to learn any of those in my list.
