My sister and BIL are complaining of how slow their internet connection is. We actually have the same ISP but my connection at home is faster than theirs (according to my BIL) so they wanted to subscribe to another ISP. Hmmm….that’s the thing with wireless internet because it depends upon the location. Since our location is near a cell tower, internet speed is faster compared to areas that are far from the tower. Hence, a wired ISP is better for their location but I have no idea if there’s an existing line in their area now so the ISP guys could tap from it and they won’t be paying much (which I think is so pricey).

Since Thursday I had problem with my stomach. Every now and then a stabbing pain hits me. After some research, I need to flush out food particles that wasn’t excreted from my intestinal walls so I decided to undergo in a fruit and vegetable diet. Ace was so sweet to buy me apples, grapes, broccoli, corn, lettuce and grape juice yesterday. Thanks Neyko!

Strictly no meat and if possible no rice this time. This morning, I started the diet by having apple for breakfast. Then had corn and grapes for lunch and corn (again for snacks). Hope I could endure not eating rice and meat for a week or two but I wonder if I could really go on without rice. Aside from cleansing my intestines, hi-fiber diet will eventually make me lose weight like weight loss supplements does. Oh, I am excited about the outcome of this diet so I am crossing my fingers that I’d be successful in this first diet experience.

Last week, the local news about a government employee shot dead by two gunmen was the headline for days. The scene was recorded by a CCTV camera installed by the barangay. It would be such a relief to the family of the victim and to the authorities. Hence I was expecting the case will be solved sooner than it is expected because of the recorded video. Sadly, police authorities said they cannot enhance the image taken by the camera since its resolution is low. Bummer! So what’s the purpose of installing those video surveillance equipment when it cannot help in resolving crimes because of poor resolution? People who decided on the surveillance equipment’s specifications must have taken into consideration that CCTV is recording video at wide angle so to identify suspects in any crime, it must be zoomed in by the authorities. How on earth could they clearly see the facial profile and features of a suspect or suspects if its already pixelized when zoomed in? I don’t know if they aren’t aware of that or they are aware but budget is limited to low resolution cameras, or they are aware, they have the budget for high-end CCTV equipments but has to downgrade for the kickbacks? Oh well, Pinoy mentality….be it in government service or private sector…or even private individuals. Kickback is always part of a business deal. Grow-up people, you’ll never prosper with that kind of attitude.

Looking for ways to invest your hard-earned money? Getting into business is unsecure but you could never go wrong investing in gold coins or bullions for it is one thing that never depreciates. I am actually considering that thing but I have no idea where to get those gold coins in case I do have the money to invest. Can I get it from Central Bank?hahaha All I know is that Monex Deposit Company is the leading seller of those investment products such as gold coins and/or bullions. If by chance I can’t get from them, then maybe a gold jewelry would do since it is still made of gold. Hope I could materialize that plan soon so I have something to look forward to in if by any chance gold would reach it’s highest market value.
