Did I ever mentioned here that Ace’ Sunday shoes was lost after we attended the wedding of her sister in Dumaguete?

I think we forgot the bag where our shoes was packed in the taxi going home from the airport. So now when we attend Sunday worship, Ace has no choice but to use the shoes that he used on our wedding. To pay for the lost shoes (which is my fault for being too forgetful), I am planning to get Ace a new pair of shoes that he could use not only in church but when he attends semi-formal events where wearing sneakers and his crocs is inappropriate. I saw this Naot shoes and I think he would like it. If not, then maybe he could choose from Noat’s inventory of men’s shoes. Then I might ask my friend who’s coming home on October to handcarry it. Wow, this is an expensive way to learn my lesson. So I hope I won’t be losing another thing due to being too forgetful.
Got a nice time catching up with Ate Eunice (Ace’ HS batchmate) the other day. I’ve been thinking of her for days and finally, she was online last Thursday. She asked when we’re going to Cebu again for a vacation. I just wish we could go solely for vacation and not just to drop by there like the two previous trips that we had. We’ve been reminiscing our bonding moments there in Cebu as I still could remember where they (Ate Eunice and Kuya Johanns) brought us way back in 2001 until the last time that we were there. As I recount each moment like our first taste of shawarma courtesy of Kuya Johanns in SM, my first Dim Sum experience at Ding Qua Qua when I first met Ate Eunice, one Sunday afternoon at Family Park in Talamban, our night out spent lazing around Waterfront Insular Hotel, child-like moments at Worlds of Fun, our b-b-q trips at Rose Barbeque in Mabolo, our dinner at Mooon Cafe in Guadalupe, our first white sauce pizza experience at Da Vinci, our first Starbuck’s experience, and so much more! Those are few of the moments that I treasured so much. Read the rest of this entry »

And…here we go!
1. She had a great time spent with her children.
2. HE is by my side, always.
3. I know this: people’s ultimate need is to love and be loved.
4. It must be hard for a toddler to just sit still.
5. These words apply to me: take things lightly and enjoy each moment as long as you live.
6. It’s been rainy the past days and I miss the days when the sun was shining.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to spend more time in my farm and do my sideline job, tomorrow my plans include doing as much online tasks as I could while Ace is at work then we’ll go out when he arrives from work and Sunday, I want to attend worship service and go strolling at the mall afterwards!
